If any maxim in English language has the best universal touch and the universal relevance – it’s: ‘Health is Wealth’.
Man perhaps mastered the knowledge ages back and rightly so that wisdom is what he is – physically weak or strong – than what he has in his mind or heart.

Therefore, in recent times medical experts have made a string case of use of one-time syringes. Pregnant mothers are advised to take special precautions against AIDS as the unborn child can be affected from an ill-fated mother.
Vaccination:
During the child care period, experts have recommended a set of vaccination for several diseases. However, there’s no vaccination yet for malaria.
Diet:
Food regime or diet chart as it’s called is vitally important. Ideal food recommended is to cut down on sugar, eat less of fat items- especially saturated fat. And also eat lot of fruit and green vegetables.
Total fat intake should be less than 30 percent of total calories daily. Saturated fatty acid intake should be less than 10% of total calories daily.
Cholesterol intake should be no more than 300 mili gram per day while sodium (salty) intake should not be more than 3000 mg per day.
Bad Habits:
Bad habits to be avoided are smoking, avoiding over eating in parties, marriage celebrations etc.
Not taking certain basic precautions and also the love for a comfortable life.
People hate exercises and prefer life of comfort – sitting in air-conditioned rooms etc.
Heart Attack:
The prevalence of coronary artery disease (CAD) is rising steadily in India. Experts say, to a large extent Heart Attack is self-inflicted by faulty lifestyle which is just not checked right from childhood.
The prevalence of heart attack symptom in northern India, in and around the national capital Delhi, in urban population is 10% while in the rural population it’s about 4 percent only. Women are fortunate to have lower percentage of CAD before the age of 45. In India, it’s estimated that over 25 lakh people die of heart attack every year. Out of these, studies have shown 16 lakh die within an hour of heart attack before even the medical aid is available.
Diabetes:
There are two principal types of diabetes. Type 1 is the more serious one normally found during childhood itself and a daily administration of insulin is required. It is rapidly fatal and symptoms include excessive excretion of urine, increased thirst, constant hunger, weight loss, vision changes and fatigue.
Type 2 diabetes is more prevalent form and 90% people with diabetes suffer from this in most countries, they say. This is the non-insulin dependent form and is normally resulted from the body’s ineffective use of insulin. This is primarily due to result of excess body weight and physical inactivity.
Medicines:
The study of medicines or medical science have three broad heads: Allopath, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic.
In Indian context, ancient Indian medicine books are replete with information on the healing qualities of the herbs like Nem leaves, turmeric or Tulsi leaves. Interestingly western countries are now working over time to discover the many magic of Ayurveda.

In fact, Ayurveda depends heavily on the Neem plants, which can also aid longevity and has ingredients which lower cholesterol and clear arteries of fat.
Therefore it is not without good reason that Ayurveda practitioners feel that with health becoming a major concern globally, India needs to propagate the lost science of Ayurveda. All efforts should be made to carry out intensive research in this wonder medical science which can cure even cancer , liver problem and probably AIDS.
