In reference to certain reports that Gogoi and Chetia were “residing in five star hotels” and running lucrative business, the ULFA propaganda machine accuses the government of having “surpassed even the ethics of Goebbel’s when both its leaders were “languishing behind bars”.
The timing was around 2000-2001 when Gogoi was imprisoned in Assam while Chetia was undergoing a prison sentence in a Dhaka jail.
